# I'm Engaged!(story inside)

Well, I did it. I got engaged to my girlfriend yesterday.

We didn’t actually want to do it on Valentine’s day, but we had it all planned and realized if we got engaged a few days around Valentines Day, everyone would ask why we just didn’t do it on the day. So we did.

I proposed while standing(kneeling) beside the Temple of Heaven in Beijing, China. We went into Beijing for the day, mostly for this(she knew it was coming). We were able to get to a spot where there were not many people.

I haven’t been able to get ahold of my parents yet, so you people know ahead of them!!!

Anyway, thought I’d post since it’s a big moment. She’s wonderful and I don’t have one doubt about marriage.
