Of course not. If it were, it would be illegal to resell books and CDs and records and whatnot, which people do all the time. If the tapes are copies, _then_ it would certainly be a breach of copyright to sell them. ---

Its Janine Lindemulder, though you are correct that the bulk of her career she’s only billed as Janine. Am I the only one wondering just what titles you got your hands on? If some of it is old “classic” stuff, Early Ron Jeremy, John Holmes, Traci Lords, Savannah, Seka etc. it could be really rare and valuable. Just to satisfy my curiosity was there a typical theme or is our mystery perv a all-genre type guy? Let us know when you list it on EBay, I’m nosy. At various times, I’ve read a number of regretful posts from guys who dumped their porn collection for the sake of a new wife/girlfriend, only to discover that real life women are a lot more fickle than videotapes. My advice would be to find out who dumped it, and if he’s still alive, send him a discreet message saying, “We know you threw your porn out, and that’s OK. But if you find yourself wanting to see your porn collection again, call XXX-XXX-XXXX and have your credit card on hand.” The point about old tapes is a good one. One caveat about Traci Lords – her early stuff was done while she was underage, trying to sell them could get you in trouble WRT kitty pron. OTOH some of the early 70s porn contains sexual bondage imagery you can’t find any more because of censorship concerns. Might be quite lucrative and not nearly as dangerous as trying to sell a Traci Lords tape. ---

I believe that Traci Lords was underage in every porn film she made save one, so if you’ve got anything with her in it, burn it (or go to the cops). BTW, if you’ve got any Tera Patrick stuff in there, that’s worth watching. –Cliffy ---

The only factual statement he’s making is that the rumor exists. It may exist on the web, it may just be a rumor among his circle of friends - but so long as he’s not asserting that the rumor _is_ fact, then it seems like you’re being a little bit harsh here.
