Thanks everyone! Anyway…he proposed to me! 🙂 We’d talked about it before, and looked at rings and such, so it wasn’t a huge surprise or anything. He bought the ring, but was going to wait until New Years to ask me, then got over-excited and got down on one knee when we came back from shopping on Black Friday. He did it in the room we were sharing at his aunt and uncle’s house, where we were staying for Thanksgiving. We are going to have a wedding, but not a church wedding, just a JP, as he’s an atheist and I’m agnostic. My dad has it in his head that we should have in in Disney World, mostly because he wants to go, but we’re not sure yet. If my dad doesn’t have his way, it will be in New Hampshire, where my family lives. We made a deal where, since I’m going to be uprooting from Boston to St. Louis for a few years, we get to have the wedding here. ---

First - Congratulations. Second - I’m normally not impressed with diamonds but yours is beautiful! Third - If you do get married in NH, I recommend the Stonebridge Country Club in Goffstown. ---
