# I'm getting married

In November.

To a girl (I’m a guy) \<------- Just needed to be completely up front on this here board, ya know?

Her name is Slartibartfas… I mean, Marnie. She’s the light of my life and I bring her joy (according to her), so marriage seems appropriate. Thanks for all of your support and encouragement thru the years, Dopers. Most of youse is good people.

So, my posting will likely be a bit on the light side for a while, what with all these plans. I’ve got a wedding to plan, a war to start, a murder to commit…

Okay, we can wish you joy as long as the murders and wars are metaphorical, and involve such things as Battling Loneliness, Declaring Victory over Ignorance, Providing Support for Family and Children, Eliminating Hatred and Prejudice, etc. Otherwise, we’ll have to put you on the Watch List. And you wouldn’t want that. The cats really like to play with their food.

Seriously, congratulations, good luck, and may your marriage be the worst day of the rest of your lives! 🙂
