My back-then-future-Father-In-Law sort of gave me a rock for Christmas back when I first met my wife. It was in his yard but he said it was for me to aim my tobacco at. And that’s what I used it for; worked great for that. Still have it; when we had to sell that house this year it was one of the few things I kept. ---

A little late to the thread, but just had to share. My friends gave their 14yo son a lump of coal for xmas and nothing else. Of course, this followed some highly inappropriate behavior at school which almost caused his expulsion, but I am both awed and impressed that they followed through with the threat. The other two kids are on the honor roll and got hooked up due to extra fund availability. ---
