I'm glad someone finally said it

Dudes,

The music stopped in '72.

Care to say why?

Hey, the only way rock ‘n’ roll will ever die is when you have to earn a degree in it to play it.

Perhaps. But it had a severe Permian Era catastrophe right around the time Third Eye Blind hit it big.

Slime molds are a very successful life form.

The White Stripes De Stijl is pretty damn’ good it’s the first new album I’ve wanted to dance to in a long time. I’m not quite as impressed with White Blood Cells. However The Hives? Naah. There’s really no range in their style. I was listening to Veni, Vidi Vicious today, and could hardly care to notice which track the disc was on. There’s one gratuitous ‘sixties pop’ track, which some producer probably talked them into cutting just to fabricate the appearance of some depth in their album.

Crap, I had a point, and now I can’t remember what it was. Oh yeah, there’s some pretty crap stuff out there right now, and I’ll take “Fell in Love with a Girl” over that freakin’ “I’m six feet from the edge and I’m thinking six feet ain’t so far down” any day. Stapp sounds like he could really use some Immodium.

I thought I knew the answer to this one, but American Pie came out in 71. Hmm.

The Strokes – Meh. One good song.
The White Stripes – Meh, one good song.
The Vines – No good songs
The Hives – Would cut off my own foot to escape hearing them.

Rock is alive and well, and going by the name Joe Satriani!

Any really new music died when joey and dee dee ramone did

lol current rumor on the accidental over dose of dee dee "he was on the habit of forgeting how many pills he was supposed ot take and would just retake them and just took one too many one night when he lost track "
