My pubes are falling out at an alarming rate. WTF?? Can this be caused by stress? It just started yesterday or the day before, so I don’t think it’s really noticable. Yet. For the record, I’m totally clean and disease-free. I shower daily, and shampoo/condition/brush daily. Also, I don’t know if this is relevent or not, but I’ve noticed that in the last couple days I’ve grown hair _all over my belly_. The rest of my hair seems about the same, with the possible exception of my nipple hair (which may or may not be more luxurious). This is very troubling, indeed. ---

[/QUOTE] Perhaps your’re molting and will grow in new thicker hair prior to your winter migration? Or maybe you’re de-evolving? You may have been infected with an intron virus and maybe de-evolving into a into some form of early primate. Possibly similar to a lemur, or pygmy marmoset. ---

While it would be easy to make light of your situation, as the others have, in answer to your OP – yes, hair loss (even of the pubic variety) can be a sign of stress. The new hair on the belly? Not so much, that’s just old age. One thing to consider is that possibly you are just going through the normal ‘all of your hair falls out and get replaced’ cycle, and for some reason your pubes decided to go at the same time? Other (not so obvious) suspects are vitamin/mineral deficiencies and thyroid. Just do what I do and shave it, then you won’t notice it falling out…oh wait, shaving twigs & berries is a bit more difficult than what I have, nevermind. ---

Wow, that’s dedication, man. I’m sorry, I couldn’t help it. Seriously, stress could play a role, but I’d think that was some major stress. Any other weird symptoms?
