I wonder if they have the garlic chicken like I grew up on. Seems like now all I see is chicken with garlic sauce, and it’s just not the same dish. There was a chinese place near my first real job that served an amazing garlic chicken. The veggies were sliced onions and green onions, maybe bell pepper or water chestnuts. And a wonderfully garlicy sauce. No one would talk to me the rest of the afternoon when I ate that stuff. If they don’t have that, I want tofu and pork, family style. ---

Hope I’m not too late! _LOL_ Here’s my order: -Crab rangoon, or steamed dumplings if they don’t have the crab rangoon -Either General Tso’s chicken -or- Singapore Rice Noodles (sometimes listed as Singapore Mei Fun); if you’ve never had this dish, it’s excellent, but can be quite spicy, and it’s usually got beef, pork, shrimp & chicken in it! Yum! I’m an experimenter when ordering Chinese food; I’ve tried alot of different dishes. I had something called lemon chicken once that was excellent; I’ve also had shrimp with cashews that was just soooo good, the cashews were caramelized. _LOL_ Every time I’ve ordered that since, though, it’s been awful and the cashews seem like they’ve been tossed into the sauce. Anyone know how that’s supposed to be cooked? Did I have it “right” the first time, with the cashews caramelized? ~~tarragon~~ ---

Well, there’s only a few Chinese things I like, so I’ll get them all General Tso’s Chicken (as hot as it gets) Pork Lo Mein Egg Roll Won Ton Soup Sesame Chicken There we go. Hmmm…I feel bad about you covering everything, here’s a couple of bucks, and I refuse to take no for an answer. ---

aiya indeed… i share **Wind Sorceress** ’s views about chinese takeout. oh, and don’t put any shellfish in WS’s food… she’s allergic. [sub]_secretly takes out a couple of oysters…_[/sub] _ducks WS’s punch_ anyhoo, i think i’ll go with **Spritle** to get the food… see if there’s anything that looks sanitary enough to eat… and with all the orders coming in, i think Spritle’d need some extra hands… hmmm… fried mouse or crisped catnip? 😃 ---

Yes they have sea cucmubers (sea turds to us divers.) They also have a wonderful Teriyaki menu and lots of stuff Japanese (note my appetizer) and you can special order anything. This place has EVERYTHING, however you want it. **Bouv** , thanks for the bucks, the orders were starting to pile up and I just found out this morning that pension and other misc. things were not taken out of my “bonus” check and I have to cover it myself. So, I’m not quite a flush with coin as I had expected. **Cougarfang** , I guess you’ve never heard the expression “I’ll buy; you fly” before? 😃 I’m just calling in the order and footing the bill. ---

I want some too, so while you’re picking up the food, can you stop at the kosher chinese place(two blocks away from me) and get me corn soup, egg roll, and spicy garlic chicken? I’ll even call it in first, so you won’t have to wait. Thanks. ---

Mongolian beef, with an equal mix of the beef and those little green onion sprout things. Too many onion sprout things is no fun. Oh, pick me up an eggroll and an order of egg drop soup. And could you pass the salt, please? If they don’t have Mongolian beef, pick me up some chicken fried rice.
