I got invited to a coworkers Mario Brothers party and I’m ridiculously excited. She has 1985 super mario brothers and her old nintendo for it. I have a 1986 mario brothers thermos that I’ll be drinking wine from. Oh and the party is on her huge boat. I’m so happy 😂 ---

Ah yes, super Mario bros 3 was awesome as well. So much of my misspent youth was taken up with playing all of the Mario bros. ---

Just as a side note, if you Google “Nintendo emulator PC” you can find lots of simulators that let you play the Mario Bros game for both the original and second-generation Nintendo consoles right on your PC. I have it installed on one of my older PCs and one on an old Android tablet, though I don’t remember which specific ones. The classic Mario Bros game tunes bring back great memories! ---

It was super fun! Had a great time playing super mario and super mario 3. She even had an original Atari. Seriously not as good as you remember! Though I did enjoy playing space invaders.
