I’m very excited. Boy Next Door and I are going to Cuba this fall on a [Photo Quest Adventure](https://www.photoquestadventures.com/quest_global.php?quest_id=120). I’m hoping fellow Dopers can help me out here:

1. I’d like to become more familiar with the history of this country. Are there any books you’d recommend I read before I go?

and

1. Have any of you ever been? Tell me your Cuba stories.

Thanks,

Leslie

I have nothing to add but my burning jealousy of your trip. Have a great time and tell us about it when you get back!

I don’t have any recommendations, but I, too, am jealous! Have a wonderful time.
