In a little over 24 hours I will be on a plane to St Thomas to go watch my brother get married. I am totally psyched. My brother rocks for picking St Thomas. The plan, as far as I know is this. We get in on Tuesday night. On Wednesday we are taking a cruise around on a boat. My brother got his captians license so he is going to take us out on the boat. His honeymoon is going to be him and his new wife cruising around down there for a couple weeks on a boat, just the two of them. On Thursday they are having the wedding and dinner afterwards. On Friday they take off on the honeymoon and I have Saturday, Sunday and Monday to play on the island. Then I fly back. Woo fucking hoo! Slee ---

Good friends of mine ran off there to get married, about 10 years ago. They rock for bringing along my husband and I as their sole guests/best man and maid of honor, and insisting on paying our way. 😃 It’s a lovely place. We stayed in a resort on the east side of the island, Point Pleasant Resort. If the hibiscuses are blooming, grab a blossom or two to feed the roaming iguanas! ---

The island itself is not as nice as I thougt it would be, but the beaches and ocean are magnificent! ---

Very interesting airport (has a mountain at one end of the runway). They drive on the left side of the road (and mostly in LHD vehicles). ---
