In the midst of all this accusation that we libruls are just feeling ‘butt-hurt’ because Team R beat Team D, we should take a moment to consider the very real butt-hurt on the part of [the winner](http://talkingpointsmemo.com/livewire/trump-makes-bizarre-courtesy-all-at-cia-headquarters) and [his henchmen](http://talkingpointsmemo.com/livewire/sean-spicer-assails-media-inauguration-crowd-size) over the paltry crowd size at the inauguration (which they’re in full denial mode over) and the dishonesty of the media. Deep down, many of them know that there is something very wrong with him and it is scary as shit to admit. ---

Now, while genocide is a easier and more practical idea, I am against it. I am assuming that you are not taking the genocide stance, but a naive reading of the exchange would indicate that you think that aid is a stupid idea, while you are giving shade to genocide. Now, while my “idea” is largely tongue in cheek (as evidenced by the marshmallow comments), I do find it vastly preferable. OMG opened the negotiation with kill everyone, I countered with give everyone free stuff. I hope to find a compromise in the middle. I do feel that as long as what we are shipping over to other countries is more misery and suffering than things that will improve their lives, they will never be stable, and they will probably continue to resent us. ---
