# I'm having a party.  70's style.

You have to remember that when SNL first came on (1975) there wasn’t anything else like it at all. Plus, it was actually funny then. At 11:30, the music would stop, the TV would be turned on, everyone would grab a fresh beer (and their recreational drug of choice), and watch.
