Oh! I almost forget…can you find a copy of Rankin-Bass’ animated _War of the Worlds_? They really did Jeff Wayne’s musical justice—the “Thunder Child” sequence in particular, I gotta say, even if they took some liberties, still gets me as much as it did when I was a kid. :eek: ☹ ---

While you’re at it, bring along Ray Harryhausen’s 1950s version of **war of the Worlds**. The jerky way the Martian Tripods move due to the animated “strobing” effect looked so good that George Lucas ripped it off for _the Empire Strikes Back_. And, as long as we’re on the subject of animated movies, I’d like to see Willis O’Brien’s pre-King Kong epic, **Creation**. And what I d really like a copy of is Richard Williams’ labor of love, the classically-animated **Nasruddin**.
