While waiting across the street for Scholl’s to open I saw something unusual: a young woman bicycling down Hawthorne Street, topless! You wouldn’t see that in Washington.
(It takes a heck of a lot to shock me, so I just glanced at her and went back to reading Consumerist on my iPhone. )

OMG, how funny–here’s a text from my daughter, sent at about 1630 this afternoon–“I just saw a half-naked lady on her bike riding down Hawthorne. Nice!”

So I asked which half was naked and she replied, “She was wearing nothing but short shorts and flip-flops. And she has an awesome body!”

What a coincidence!
