Damn, this fell like a fucking rock.
Hey, you know who’s real short? That guy from Sparks. He’s boxing in this video, that’s like an action hero.

There are various inconsistent claims about Charles Manson’s height. Some sources say that he’s 5’7":

It looks like Pintsized Powerhouse may be the more relevant trope for the OP, although many of the examples are either human characters of average size who fight much bigger non-human foes or non-human characters who are smaller than humans but average for their own species.
Hey I was reading Alpha Flight when I was 11 or 12. The only thing that would make him gay I think was that he had a French surname and had a somewhat androgynous look. He was certainly gay in Byrne and Mantlo’s mind, but apart from a few clues, thee wasnt anything explicit about his homosexuality. Well, nothing that a pre teen would catch.
Admit it: You’re Tom Cruise’s agent, aren’t you?
I don’t believe he was gay before the first Alpha Flight run, simply because none of the characters except the Hudsons and Snowbird had any characterization before that point. But there’s tons of clues in the first Northstar solo story in that run, as well as in the first Aurora story. The latter is about Jean-Paul avenging the death of an older man who implicitly helped him accept his homosexuality; and in the latter, as I recall, both of Aurora’s personalities express some homosexuality. And James Hudson comments that, unusually for a star athelete, Jean-Paul was never interested much in girls.
He’s Canadian. That’s about as gay as you can get.
the hero from “for your height only”.
