I don’t think it’s really real-time. I mean, with commercials, each hour covered in the story will take place in about 40 real minutes. I guess we’ll just have to assume that he’s going to the bathroom or eating or doing some mundane task during the other 20 minutes. And is he going to be awake for 24 hours? Will the story wrap up neatly in exactly 24 hours, starting from midnight? It sounds to me like a dumb idea, but I’ll give it a chance. It is a Fox show, so I won’t expect too much.

Will it be a one season show, or will every season be a day? Will seven years be a week? Man…
As I’ve said before, I’m only watching because Kiefer Sutherland’s in it. Actually I heard somewhere that they’ll be showing points of view of different people. The “good guys” and the “bad guys” (terrorists, I believe). So I guess it will be real time, but focusing on many different people. Like where they were during the twenty four hours. Either way, it had better be good…I’m giving up “Gilmore Girls” to watch it.

The idea of the show is that it will run one season only, with 22 episodes(2-hour premiere and 2-hour finale).
If the show is sucessful, they will do another series with another 24 hours. If they can’t get the same people, they will do a whole different cast. This is how they were able to get Kiefer Sutherland to do the show in the first place. One season, 24 shows.
Now some light spoiler material(nothing too big)…
1. Don’t assume the show is as straight forward as it seems. You don’t know who is good and who is evil, at least not entirely.
2. The show is very real. People live and people die. People die.
And one **major spoiler** (coded so you won’t read it on accident)…

I too am looking forward to the series (though I was an idiot and read the coded spoiler, thus ruining much of the intrigue.)
