# I'm Mean To My Kids! And I Can't Stop!

Does it bother anyone else when a thread has died down and everyone is happy with the resolution and people come in and make posts that show they obviously haven’t read the thread?

Could be worse. [In this thread, the post I’m linking to](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showpost.php?p=12523052&postcount=508) illustrates rather obviously the poster’s failure not only to read the whole thread before posting but also his inability _to catch up with the real world’s current events related with them_! :smack:
