Do you need help moving in, Ben? ---

Also, L’shana tova. I helped a friend prepare for the upcoming weeks today. I made challah! It’s GREAT! ---

Thanks for the offer, **Ginger** , but for this I’m going to hire some people. And l’shanah tovah to you too. Homemade challah is such a delight, isn’t it? ---

I’m pretty sure I’m in – and there’s a strong possibility my friend M. may come. ---

Here it is, two weeks to go until I move. Time for another update. The good news is, settlement is on Thursday. My mortgage is out of underwriting, so I expect no major issues to come up at settlement. The bad news is, I’m feeling so _drained_ this weekend. Anybody have any ideas for a good pick-me-up? Just another reminder about the send-off dinner. It won’t be just Dopers; I’m inviting some of my martial arts buddies, too. ---

Trying to place Outback-Conshie. On Ridge Pike down towards the Chemical Road intersection? ---

That’s right, **dances**. It’s on Ridge about a third of a mile south of Chemical Road. ---

You’ll arrive in the area two weeks before a few of us will be [meeting for a beer](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?t=339097) in Herndon … hope you can join us. 🙂 ---

I’ve been keeping an eye on that thread, **Misnomer**. However, I have to decline – my best friend’s wife’s 30th birthday party is the same night, and I’ll be at that party instead. Stay tuned to MPSIMS for my housewarming thread, once I settle on the condo. ---

Ben – saw our mutual friend S. last night and mentioned this – she may come – I’ll forward her the info. [Previous page](https://boards.straightdope.com/t/im-moving-back-to-dc/321911.md?page=1)
