The privileges are: You get the title ‘Member’ under your name, you can make up a fancy title for yourself under your name, your post count shows to the right and you don’t have to be bothered with spam ads. ---

Technically, while anyone can make up a fancy title for themselves under your name, being member gives you the further right to pay more money to be able to have that title show up. I’m pretty sure as a guest you cannot do searches of the board. I am constantly doing searches to mine the wisdom of the teeming masses, and would find the board a lot less useful of I was unable to search. Easily worth the money. ---

Guests can use the search function, same as a paying member. There’s no point in doing so, since Google works better. ---
