In the early days, I would be “bill” on the bbs’s. When the Internet came around, I would be “billh”. Nowadays, the only unique name I can get everywhere is “billehunt”, and I like having one name I use everywhere. In another year, when all the other Bill E. Hunt’s pop out of the woodwork, I’ll have to settle for “billehuntfromsanjoseoriginallyfromsandiegowithbrownhairandblueeyes”. So, it’s “Bill”, please. Not Billie or Billy. My grandparents still call me that, but they’re 85 and they’ve earned it. You haven’t! Thank you for your cooperation. You may return to your homes now. There’s more nothing to see here. ---

You should never call billehunt “Billie.” If you do, he might slap you silly. He’s hoping you will, Just call him “Bill.” Stop shortening his name willy-nilly! ---

Bill, have you ever thought of just changing your handle to something like “BillHunt?” Or “Bill E. Hunt?” It would solve your problems, since nobody would be confused by your name. Just a suggestion. * * * Not a newbie…formerly ARG220 ---

Basically, the point is that we’ve already pretty much gone over every possible original idea on this board and now we’re just recycling old ones. It’s all inside jokes from here on out. Bill, your post reminded andros and myself of other posters in the past (Canthearya and Sealemon) who complained that people were unable to figure out the correct way to pronounce their usernames.
