Like VOW said, you are, and have been, more than enough. I rarely post but you need to know this. You are an asset to this community. I appreciate you for who you are. Hang in there, I am pulling for you. Keep pushing back. Do not let your biological family pull you down. Mine will if I let them. This is part of the reason I am 1300 miles away from them. As hard as it is, I do not let them tell me who I am, or how horrible I am. ---

**Beck** , “Desiderata,” as posted above by **its\_your\_daddy** , says it all. I’ve taken solace in “Don’t Quit,” many times. I’ve faced many hardships, but that little poem keeps me going through them. You can Google it for the full text. “Footprints” is one I return to from time to time, and it means a lot. Most of all, understand that you’re enough. You’re more than enough. I love your observations and stories. You may not think you’re enough to your Daddy or your siblings or your pets or whatever, but you are enough to us Dopers. I once said that you didn’t just crack the door and enter the Dope quietly, as most of us did. You kicked it wide open, said “I’m here, take it or leave it” and settled in. We chose to take it. As a result, you’re an important part of our community. In other words, regardless of family connections, you still have … well, a family. Be well, friend **Beck**. ---
