No sweat, something like 90% of nurses in america are still female, I certainly didn’t take it as having anything to do with orientation. I was curious if there was any particular post or thread recently that had given you that impression, but it sounds like not. I was just curious.
I’m sorry my first post was read as a statement of marriage, I was just doing Python.

I suppose I don’t see statistical probability as any kind of proof one way or another in a specific circumstance like this one. It seems you’re saying “people are more likely to be straight than gay or bisexual, so if someone says they fancy men, that’s proof they are a woman.”
On reflection, I suppose there might also be a difference in US assumptions about “husband/wife” terminology because (IIRC) same-sex marriage/civil partnerships are still illegal in 45 of the 50 states, so Americans are probably less likely to think of a gay person in a committed relationship in those terms.

Trust me, having two boys fighting over who gets to be Friedrich and who gets to be Kurt when they are pretending to be characters from _The Sound of Music_ can eliminate any desire for more children. 😛
Surly Chick: look at the plus side! You can go to the movies whenever you want and see whatever movie you want to see! You can hop in your car and drive away for the week-end without having to check with anybody! You can sleep in until noon every day! I miss those days.
