See as an IMHO subject thinking that she should have moved is a reasonable enough thought. Thinking that she was rude to not move is something I would disagree with (just not being nice) but also not an outrageous opinion. And it should have been expressed. She opened the thread; expecting only positive affirmation would have been a bit silly. Feeling the need to harass her and insult her about it? Having that reach the level of needing to move this to The Pit venue and there reaching levels that are beyond The Pit’s usual pale? That evinces some real major problems in the emotional and/or psychological health of the posters who did that. Seriously. Of course if she opened a Pit thread about “those rude people” then it would have been a bit different. Anytime you Pit someone you should be prepared to have the Pit turn on you … it seems like it does more often than it does not to my infrequent Pit reading eyes. But she did not do that. **Anonymous User** , some places will even take you on without trade school and train you on the job. But getting some technical skills will help a lot; there are jobs for those with marketable skills even without a High School degree or a GED. ---

I am going to 4 year college and then either MBA or some other graduate school. I don’t understand. ---

I was going to the movies to get away from all of life’s troubles, and then these people came in late, asking me to move… None of that matters. As for your last paragraph, you are writing in a certain way that makes me believe that you think you are coming across in a way that is the very opposite of reality. Right now, you sound like a very arrogant (high school?) student. Nothing more. ---

I wouldn’t move in a cinema once I had sat in my seat. But nor would I leave one seat between me and the aisle. What the hell’s that about? It’s like inviting the weirdo who’s going to have a wank to come and sit next to me. Which has never appealed. So unless the OP and the boyfriend were recruiting for a random singleton to take home for a threesome, it seems very strange to me that anyone would leave one vacant seat. Unless you’re in one of \*those \*cinemas. 😃 ---

There were a lot of places where they could’ve sat together, including just one row in front. If the exact row you sit in matters to you, get there early. Tbh I think it was a bit rude they even asked. ---

I was thinking more along the lines of plumber. It’s not a high prestige job, but it’s usually fairly in-demand, and it pays more than most people realize. It’s not very complicated most of the time: learn how to take pipes apart and buy a mechanical snake and you’ve got 95% of your customers’ problems solved right there. I would advise Anonymous User to find someone else to take care of the business end of the practice, though. It’s… probably best that they handle booking, as well. Perhaps a family member could help him out with that. ---
