I didn’t agree with the OP’s actions, but that couple went really over the top. I mean, profanity? Seriously? I have yet to ever see that happen in public. Why do people think if they said in the 5th row, they would be at a 90 degree angle to the screen? There was a huge gap in front of the first row, forget the 5th. So Bazinga (which is how I read it every time I see it) says to me she’s also had to deal with people accusing her of speaking for all, which is annoying. I thought you were referring to the seats after the gap. I have been there once. It was a relatively empty movie, but since I was new to theaters at that time, I didn’t manage to care. Honestly it was actually a pretty good experience. We didn’t experience any difficulties in viewing or discomfort. Okay, then opinion change. I think you we’re fine to say “no” in that case. I thought you were referring to the very front. Yeah, that couple was pretty stupid to not just take those seats. Those were perfectly fine. Had it been in the very front, I would have shared the same opinion I had before. ---
