It would really not help us not help you to not remember if you could not give us examples of things that the thing you’re not trying to remember is not like.

Mammograms, auto insurance quotes, Tim Tebow, the number 5, Chinese food, Babylonian ziggurats, supernova remnants, Nikon F2AS with 58mm f/1.2 (non AI) and MD-2 motor drive (with MB-1 battery pack) and 250 exposure back, Taylor Swift on the ACM Awards show, LED watches, a used Tootsie Pop wrapper, and back hair.

I’m confused. You said you weren’t trying to remember a story, then mentioned that you also weren’t trying to remember a movie (among other things). Does this imply that you’re not trying to remember a book?

If not, I suggest that you do so. The book is much more forgettable.
