I’ve been trying for years now, with no success. Actually, that is a good question, and it deserves a more serious answer. Unfortunately, I’m not sure I have one. It’s not like we (and I hope I can include myself) are all clustered in the back woods in New Hampshire or something. I think there are decent guys all over the place. They aren’t all who you’re looking for, and they aren’t all looking for you, but they exist. The only advice I can offer is not to just sit around and wait to be noticed. Say ‘hello’ to guys. If you’re on any sites like match or tinder, send messages. It may not work, but at the very least you’ll gain some understanding of that side of the process, and what guys have had to go through while looking for you. ---

I ain’t the only thing around. Plus, I ain’t no where near to you. I bet there are women close to you. Do you know what a rare bird you are? Therer are 3 times as many women than men in your age range. I know you expect someone 38.5 years old. I suggest shooting for the 45 range. ---

Friend at work, who isn’t speaking to me, is 45. Another whom I’ve yet to approach, but who has an astonishing butt, is 53. Married friend at church is 62. I’m open-minded, for a guy. ---

The Netherlands?😛 Not a very helpful answer. More serious answer: Everywhere, to some degree. For my own sake, I like _women_. Upwards, age doesn’t matter all that much. Personality, interests, and mutual attraction is much more important. My friend likes older men. At first glance , many think of him as a gold-digger. Get to know him, and you’ll realize he just finds older men attractive, mostly due to life experience and mutual interests. Younger men and men his own age, not so much. People are different. You have to talk to them to figure out how and why. ---

In all seriousness, **Scribble** , may I offer a suggestion and hope it is helpful? This worked very well for a friend of my wife. My wife Theresa and Karen attended the monthly breakfast meeting of the local Porsche 356 club. Theresa and Karen are car people, and they were single. They met at one of the breakfasts and became friends. They attended other club events, and since they are true car people they had a lot of fun. And then Karen met Rich, and Rich had a nice 356… and their story ends well. And so does ours, although we met at work and not at the club. Perhaps you can find a local 356 club. Porsche 356 owners tend to be more down-to-earth than many 911 owners can be, so you may want to start there. Or any club of the car(s) you are interested in. Our monthly breakfasts are great places to look at and talk about the cars. You’re likely to have some fun! ---

Hi! Where are you again? I am I Southern Ontario. Er, sorry. The last three women I was seriously interested in were 46, 42, and 54. They ranged between ‘cute and cuddly’ and ‘mindbogglingly voluptuous’. One was Jamaican, one was Chinese, and one was French-Canadian. We broke up basically because we were looking for different things in life. I can safely say that I have no problem with women over forty. 🙂 ---
