I'm OFFICIALLY involved in a Nigeran scam. Your thoughts? Comments? (Long)

The scams originate on your continent.

Why would the US State Department get involved if they are internal to the USA?

As pointed out by gaeila, there are quite a few government web sites here in the USA detailing this scam. Are they all in cahoots against the American People to deceive them the scams really originate at home instead of overseas?

Perhaps the reason you’ve never heard of this until this thread is because the scams originate on your continent and are directed to the USA, if not other countries outside of Africa.

Finally, perhaps a reread of this thread is in order. They’re not called Nigerian Scams because they originate in South Africa!

BTW, Sani Abacha was the dictator of Nigeria until a few years ago. Supposedly he took a bunch of viagra, had a big orgy, and died of a heart attack. The scammer probably did quick Google on Nigeria looking for real Nigerian names to use, and came up with Gen. Abacha.

(Apologies if this double-posts.)
