I’m glad you’re back home and sounding so chipper (although I’m sure that’s far easier online than in person). As for the question of suing for pain and suffering, I’m not one to advocate them in general, but your situation is what lawyers and lawsuits were _made_ for. I say go for it. ---

I’m not going to push for money but if it’s being offered, I’m not going to reject it either. If nothing else, a car would be nice instead of the already broken bike I bought from Wal Mart only a month ago. None of this would have happened if it weren’t for the piece of crap breaking on me the day beforehand anyway. ---

I think that if I were in your position, I’d call one of those lawyers that advertise on TV, spouting on about “If you’ve been injured in an accident. . .” They also have half and quarter-page ads in the Yellow Pages. IMHO, you should sue; not for everything you can get (don’t get me started on frivolous lawsuits), but let’s face it, you’re losing work time, you _do_ have a considerable amount of pain and suffering through no fault of your own, and you may have to end up getting someone in to help you. ---
