We’ve missed you in chat. I am glad to see you are on your way to recovery.
Glad you’re home. Take it easy and get better, kay?
Welcome Back, Aesiron!! Glad to have you back.
Good to have you in one piece. Welcome back.
I’m glad to hear you’re doing better. Now sit back and enjoy all the attention you’ll be getting!
Hey, good to see you back. Try not to let things get you down too much. I’m going in for keyhole surgery on my knee tomorrow, so the two of us are going to be relying on other people for a while …Anyways, best wishes.
Welcome Back Aes!
Get better, then stay out of the way of those big iron things, will ya?
Good to have you back, Aesiron!
At least you’re not going to be stuck in that convalescent home for six weeks that Gr8Kat spoke of.
Aesiron, welcome back to the Dope! You were missed, and lots of us (even those on tight budgets who couldn’t send anything) have been including you in our good thoughts and prayers. I wish you a speedy, pain-controlled recovery!
Yay!!! Welcome back** Aesiron**! ::throws arms around Aesiron’s neck and nearly chokes him with affection::
I’m so glad you’re doing better. Now listen-- if you get down, you have a lotta buds here. We’ll pick you back up, m’kay?
Isn’t that like “a really tall Manute Bol” or “a really busty Dolly Parton”? I mean, I understand all the words individually, but put together, I find my mental imager is inadequate to the task.
Anyway, welcome back. Sue those bastards! Insurance will pay for it anyway, and Lord knows we don’t have enough lawsuits and insurance problems in this country.
I might take you up on that some time in the next couple days. I don’t want to be a vindictive asshole and try to get a million dollars but since everyone, including both insurance reps, are expecting a lawsuit for pain and suffering as custom, I suppose I should give in and get my slice if I can and I have ***NO ** * idea how to go about it at all.
Thanks again, everyone.
I’m glad you’re back home and sounding so chipper (although I’m sure that’s far easier online than in person). As for the question of suing for pain and suffering, I’m not one to advocate them in general, but your situation is what lawyers and lawsuits were made for. I say go for it.
Good to see you back!
I wasn’t going to at all but the insurance agency (we both use the same one) sounded so matter of fact and just assumed I was going to that it seems it’s not really that big of a deal after all. I’m not going to push for money but if it’s being offered, I’m not going to reject it either.
If nothing else, a car would be nice instead of the already broken bike I bought from Wal Mart only a month ago. None of this would have happened if it weren’t for the piece of crap breaking on me the day beforehand anyway.
I think that if I were in your position, I’d call one of those lawyers that advertise on TV, spouting on about “If you’ve been injured in an accident. . .” They also have half and quarter-page ads in the Yellow Pages. IMHO, you should sue; not for everything you can get (don’t get me started on frivolous lawsuits), but let’s face it, you’re losing work time, you do have a considerable amount of pain and suffering through no fault of your own, and you may have to end up getting someone in to help you.

That was my new long-distance reiki. Is it working?
If you’ve never seen it, now would be an excellent time to watch Rear Window.
Glad to hear you are on the mend.
Welcome back!
Never go against custom. When in Rome sue as the Romans sue.
