Glory in the fact that you have NO COMMITMENTS. This will rarely happen again until you are too old to make the most of it.
All the things that millions of working folk would love to do but _never have the time_, you can do.
Now get out there and start doing them.

Well, I guess you could write a sonnet, conduct a light opera, visit Paris, meet members of the opposite sex, do some BASE jumping, learn how to weave baskets, read every single book ever written by James Patterson, go metal detecting, start collecting different coloured paperclips, fly a kite, walk the furthest you’ve ever walked in your life, spend one whole day watching the floor for money people have dropped, film yourself doing crazy stunts, eat something you’ve never eaten before, practice parkour, construct an exact replica of Busch Gardens with Lego, get drunk, buy a trilby, research your family history, do the moonwalk, record all your dreams and sell them as psychedelic fiction, pick strawberries, start a Facebook group with half a million members, take some random piece of technology apart and then figure out how to put it back together again, go on a road trip, photograph a nude model, experiment with unlikely food combinations, design the perfect political system.
Or just play Playstation games all summer.

Go on a road trip and visit everything you think you may ever want to visit in the United States. When you’re older and want to visit somewhere, it will never be this easy.

Start taking classes online, of course. [Academic Earth](http://academicearth.org/) has a nice collection across multiple universities. While we’re at it, what about summer school?
School never ends, most people just drop out.

I’m on summer break too. The best possible thing you could do is rub it in as often as humanly possible.
Last night **Sr. Olives** casually asked me, ‘‘What are your plans tomorrow?’’
‘‘Oh, I dunno. Sleep in. Play video games all day. You?’’
‘’…I’m going to fire you out of a cannon.’’
I don’t know about you, but this is the last summer break I will likely ever have. Go for a walk, go to the beach, read, write, play video games, but for god’s sake, enjoy it while it lasts!

How do I get a job? I have no skills and am not good at anything. I can not go out to talk to people or talk on the phone for I am too shy. Why is everything so difficult

What do you do for cash? When I was in college, I had to work, or my sorry ass was hanging around my parents’ house and watching TV with them and my little (middle school) brother because I couldn’t afford to go out with my friends.
