# I'm seeing ads again at the top of the page

To help diagnose, I turned off my adblocker for this site , but I also run pi-hole on my home network (which [I _heartily_ endorse to anyone interested](https://blog.codinghorror.com/an-exercise-program-for-the-fat-web/)) so I still might not see the ads.

My personal philosophy is I don’t mind ads that are relevant, and not too obtrusive. I wish more sites could master this simple (?) formula…
