The key is fine powder, or letting it burn. Just a tiny amount of cesium, so small you can’t see it, is enough to kill a thousand people.
Makes global warming pale by comparison.

During WWII, during the buildup before D day, the worry was Germany would simply dust the troops with the little bit of radioactive material they had made in their reactor. A few pounds of reactor core material spread over the troops would have caused casualties beyond imagining.
Because fine dust gets into the lungs, which is a really bad place for all of the material from a rector core.
But fuck all that, it’s global warming that is the real danger.

That’s what is so ironic about the reality of things. While there is indeed warming, the extreme cooling of the NH winters actually makes it seem like there is no warming.
It’s a scientific matter, and **if it had been predicted by any climate model** , you would hear all about it from the usual bleating doom and gloom experts.
But because admitting it is happening actually is to say the models (and theory) were wrong, that’s a tough thing to do. Especially when you spent he last decade denying it was happening.

This was my response:
“I would challenge you to find fault with any position I’ve held regarding climate change - there is a thread in BBQ where you can post your results, if you can find anything.”
I’m open to having an outside 3rd party be the judge. I know **Trinopus** sides with **GIGO** and company in these discussions…but I also know that **Trinopus** tends to be pretty logical about any type of debate…so if he/she agrees, I would be ok with it.
