I don’t think that’s the case. I seem to recall FX stating so pretty explicitly more than once. I could be wrong, and I don’t have time to search. But perhaps each of them can state their positions specifically to address that point. And tif they can and have the time, I’d suggest that they include quotes showing that have been holding that position.

I’ll admit it’s hard to know, since FX tries to be sarcastic without any warning or humor being involved.
It would seem his use of the term warmist suggests he doesn’t count himself among them, but as I say, who knows. So, FX, care to weigh in?

For starters, what I “believe” just doesn’t actually matter, from a SCIENCE perspective. In the forbidden great debate topic, there is abundant evidence and data and all kinds of SCIENCE! shit that is specific and to the point.
The most obvious (and most denied by the warmers) is the current asymmetric change happening from a global perspective. It’s what the data says that I find interesting, not what somebody “believes”, as belief is actually a hindrance at times, it blinds one to what is actually happening.
I also use terms like “warmer” or “alarmist fuckhead” rather than arguing with some shit for brains that calling names is a jack move, it is a fuckhead scenario, it isn’t scientific at all. Certainly I fall prey to it, like when I “believe” that powerful forces are indeed throwing chaff into the machine, trying to avoid the very concept that pollution and inefficiency and deforestation and other fuckhead moves are fucking up the ecosystem.
Of course **I BELIEVE** they are. Be it a logging company or BP, corporations always feather their own beds, and resist with great force anything that could decrease their profits. But that is another story.
Scientifically, what is happening is very interesting to me. Especially the unexpected and extreme changes of late, none of which are predicted by models, one main reason I have disrespect for true believers who insist the models are correct, that everything is going as predicted. Such people are actually deluded.
There is no reasoning with them.
In regards to “global warming”, I’m with the real scientists who don’t use the term, as it is unscientific in the extreme. Climate change, or Anthropogenic climate change is the term used, as nobody who knows the theory expects a global warming from changes to the atmosphere. Even the most ridiculous models don’t show uniform warming of the planet, a fact that the GIGO fuckheads of the world don’t seem to know.
That summers are still warming in most areas, while winters are cooling in vast areas, that is a reality that very few people expected. There actually were a few theorists who put forth the theory that CO2 and other changes from mankind’s never ending rape of the natural world would lead to a different sort of catastrophic result. Most have never heard of them, much less what they were warning about in the seventies. The natural warming cycle which started in 78, or 80, depends on which data you use, put a firm end to that nonsense.
Colder winters? That is the opposite of the consensus CO2 theory view. Warming is supposed to be greatest in winters, especially at high latitudes. When you realize the never ending crybaby who bemoans our fate from AGW doesn’t actually understand the theory, that’s when an online discussion goes down the shitter fast.

your typical fuckhead can’t even follow actual science, so they find themselves in an impossible situation, like a GIGO who can’t even find a subject in his app. They have no way to respond.
The Feb GISS data confirms what anybody who follows these things already knew, that [the trend has become even more negative for February in the NH](http://data.giss.nasa.gov/cgi-bin/gistemp/nmaps.cgi?year_last=2014&month_last=2&sat=4&sst=3&type=trends&mean_gen=02&year1=1995&year2=2014&base1=1951&base2=1980&radius=250&pol=rob).
This pretty much matches the NCDC records, which clearly show a trend of colder winters for large areas of the NH.
[The Feb anomaly map is interesting](http://data.giss.nasa.gov/cgi-bin/gistemp/nmaps.cgi?year_last=2014&month_last=2&sat=4&sst=3&type=anoms&mean_gen=02&year1=2014&year2=2014&base1=1951&base2=1980&radius=250&pol=rob), but [a more realistic one is actually alarming](http://data.giss.nasa.gov/cgi-bin/gistemp/nmaps.cgi?year_last=2014&month_last=2&sat=4&sst=3&type=anoms&mean_gen=02&year1=2014&year2=2014&base1=1981&base2=2010&radius=250&pol=rob). If it was a one time thing, it could be handwaved away. But the trend clearly shows the bigger story.
It’s actually climate change, and it’s expensive as hell.
That [Europe was mostly warmer is an anomaly](http://data.giss.nasa.gov/cgi-bin/gistemp/nmaps.cgi?year_last=2014&month_last=2&sat=4&sst=3&type=anoms&mean_gen=02&year1=2011&year2=2011&base1=1981&base2=2010&radius=250&pol=rob), based on the trend. of course the believer grasps onto any warm spell and claims disaster, which is why the trends are more important.

**The global mean** shows -.13C for the twenty year trend. So it’s impossible for their to be more “warming” than cooling for that time period.
Even [the entire winter trend since 2002 is negative](http://data.giss.nasa.gov/cgi-bin/gistemp/nmaps.cgi?year_last=2014&month_last=2&sat=4&sst=3&type=trends&mean_gen=1203&year1=2002&year2=2014&base1=1951&base2=1980&radius=250&pol=pol), for the global mean.
The NH February land only trend (not global) for 1995-2014 is - 1.1C

The NH land winter trend is - .51C for 1995-2014
That is a huge number.
It’s also why there is no “global warming” for 17 years. It’s not that the rest of the year isn’t still going up, because it is, but the winters are actually so much colder iot brings the entire global mean down, so we see no "“global warming”.
It’s truly fucked up.
Even more so, since anyone can check for themselves, an argument over the numbers is stupidity cubed.
