Just talked to a friend in Chicago, brutal global warming came early this year. **Weather pattern has turned upside down** The jet stream pattern has effectively reversed typical seasonal norms at this point, with Alaska seeing considerably milder conditions than many parts of the lower 48 states. Consider this: As of 10:30 a.m. ET, it was already warmer in Barrow, Alaska, where the sun had not yet inched above the horizon, than it was in Denver, Colorado. That’s right, it was 21F in Barrow, while Denver was just inching up above -1F, from the low of -8F. Barrow enjoyed a sultry 32F, while Denver never reached above 17 all day. In November!! Not that facts will make any difference. Once a true believer **gets some truthiness in their head** , facts are the last thing that will dispel the ignorance. ---

You seem to be missing the gist of the articles argument, which is that the drastic reduction in arctic sea ice, along with a resulting early heavy snowfall in Siberia, is causing the weather. In essence, that global warming is CAUSING Barrow to be warm, and Denver to be cold.
