You know, I have a real quandary on my hands at times. Because I actually agree with most of the goals of the alarmists, while I despise their methods and rhetorical bullshit. So even a soft target like GIGO, who obviously suffers from the language barrier, I just don’t enjoy mocking him. If it was up to me, we would have safe clean nuclear power, clean underground coal burning only, until we don’t need any coal period, everybody would be planting trees, laws would be enforced to protect the planet from destruction, and solar energy would have the same funding as the motherfucking war machines of the entire planet. We could brew our own ethanol to run cars on, and all trucks and ships would be hybrids. Jets would fly on hydrogen only, and oil spills would never happen again. Fuck you fossil fuel assholes. Fuck you Exxon. And fuck you Nixon while I am at it. But instead of fretting, I’m going outside to start another hundred trees. They grow a lot faster now than they used to. And trees is money. I say harvest all the CO2. Fuck you China and your new coal plant every three days. Money in my bank. ---

A thaw with temps into the upper 40s and 50s is expected in the Midwest and Northeast this coming week, so maybe the Haw Haw What Global Warming crowd will have to shut up for awhile, along with the This Is Just The Kind Of Cold Winter We Expect In A Warming Climate ninnies. But then we’ll still have the Bad Storms In Britain This Winter Therefore Climate Change! idiots. All of you - short-term weather events do not equate to long-term climate trends. Just shaddup. ---

How about John Kerry yelling at the Indonesians for dumping all _their_ carbon dioxide into the atmosphere. Did he really say they were creating a “weapon of mass destruction”? That’s like arsenic telling strychnine it’s full of LSD. How about his little mini-rant about people who believe the Earth if flat. What the hell? It’s only a goddamn square meter, that’s small enough to assume it’s flat, isn’t it, c’mon, it’s just a square meter, no sense complicating things using a sphere, right? ---

It’s full of wrong. It’s from the weather channel, and Dr. Jeff Masters is some sort of fuckhead. He really is. He says, with authority, several things that are blatant lies. It can’t be he is just stupid. Nobody is that stupid. “and we can blame it on the jet stream” “normally the jet stream blows straight west to east” and then pretty much blames the incredibly cold winter on Canada, because the jet stream weakened and allowed cold air to make it cold Lies, and big ones. How does this sort of thing happen? You can check the jet stream yourself, [http://squall.sfsu.edu/crws/jetstream.html](http://squall.sfsu.edu/crws/jetstream.html) and see that there is almost never a straight west to east jet stream or that a “weak” jet stream causes cold air to move south, in fact, the cold air causes the jet stream, not the other way around weak jet streams are in summer, when there is no drastic difference between air masses to create them extreme cold and extreme warm air meeting is what causes extreme weather, and powerful jet streams the lie that a warm arctic, and a weak jet stream causes cold winters is complete bullshit. if this were so, the cold winters of the past make no sense at all No Jeff, despite your obvious brainwashing problem, cold winters are not caused by the jet stream. It’s something else. ---

(and look at that Pacific ocean cooling, my my) Don’t read too much into it, it just means the data shows August in part of the US is actually getting cooler. [The winters there](http://data.giss.nasa.gov/cgi-bin/gistemp/nmaps.cgi?year_last=2014&month_last=1&sat=4&sst=3&type=trends&mean_gen=1203&year1=2002&year2=2013&base1=1951&base2=1980&radius=250&pol=rob) don’t show the same trend.
