Really FX? So you wouldn’t stoop to something as low as altering their words in your quotes in an attempt to make you seem like less of an idiot since you don’t “Give a fuck”?
In addendum to my early critique of your posting style, let me add, this particular fillip does not make you seem like less of an idiot, but more so.
Oh! And gibbering. I should’ve stuck gibbering between “pompous” and “disingenuous buffoon” in my earlier summation of your attributes.
To be clear, I’m not of the mind that greenhouse gases do not act in the way that physics and experiments show. I am saying that the atmospheric buildup doesn’t seem to be having the expected effect, the effect that the climate models predict, or forecast.
The explanation of increased pollution from Indochina/China acting as a cooling effect also doesn’t seem to fit. If that were the case the measurements at the top of the atmosphere don’t make any sense.
They don’t know what it is; they don’t know that they don’t know; they don’t process it when it’s gently pointed out to them; and they don’t perceive any of this as a problem.
Snow in Cairo, snow in Jerusalem, record cold…my my…AGW is starting to sound so quaint. Is any research money being handed out? I guess big bad coal ain’t so bad!:smack:
Oh jeez, I was hoping nobody noticed the snow in Egypt. I guess with twitter and social media, it’s a lot harder to ignore such extreme and rare events. They got pictures and everything.
Usually these things are never mentioned, or buried deep.
One reason I don’t spam my research all over the interwebs, I just know stupid people will think it means we can keep polluting and deforesting and pretty much fucking up the planet with no consequences. Just the mercury, uranium, thorium and sulfur from burning coal is enough reason to STOP USING IT to burn for power. And even if CO2 doesn’t fuck up the long term climate, the increasing amounts should pose a SERIOUS FUCKING DANGER to the oceans.
Of course I feel the same way about the radioactive shit flowing into the ocean from Fukushima for the last two and three quarter years.
The funny thing? The same people that are freaking the fuck out over CO2 and global warming don’t seem to think Fukushima is any problem at all. Which is seriously fucked up.
