Duck duck goose: its not really difficult flaming someone without being rude. take for instance this post. why? because i truly mean every word i say in this and for that matter any other post i make. i am not joking around, pulling everybodies legs and turning them upside down with wonderings if i am lying or not. flaming someone by making a joke…is a joke. but its a bad flame. it might be hilarious, but its not true! its false and therefore shouldnt be taken seriously. so how can it be considered a flame if you arent offended by it, but rather puzzled at a silly choice of words. i am not rude, although some people might consider me, but some people are offended by the truth, to them my posts might be considered flames…go figure. consider this scenario: joe: jerry, you stupid fuck! jerry: you are the stupid fuck, i didnt do nothing, you started this! joe: you are a stupid fuck because your country is the main exporter of coca cola. jerry: you stupid fuck, my country doesnt do that. joe: oh, yes you are correct, im sorry for saying that, but you are still a stupid fuck. jerry: Apology accepted. Try not to fuck up again, OK? where does “stupid fuck” fit in? silly thing really. directed at no one in general(just in case someone misunderstood): think about it, people call you a stupid fuck as a joke. hahaha…whats next? but if people call you a stupid fuck and really mean it. its the same thing, hahaha…whats next? because you know it isnt true. if you know it to be the truth on the other hand you are going to need pshyciatric help(eh…i propably need grammar help with that one). bj0rn - bö ---

bjOrn: Look, you self-righteous little PC pygmie. If someone flames you, you flame them back. That’s just the way of the pit. Basically what you’re saying is “Why can’t The Pit be more nice”. Which is just plain retarded. Asking people to do that is like asking people not to dance at the nightclub. This place is **meant** for flaming, so you shouldn’t be at all surprised when it happens. Granted, people shouldn’t just flame each other for no reason. But if somebody flames you it’s more than justifiable to flame him back. In fact, it’s almost expected. ---

If you want to spend all your time squabbling with Coldfire about whether or not people should be rude, or ironic, or sarcastic, or use proper punctuation, I suppose that’s your affair. Classy move, **Drainthelizard** , and that is said with no overtones or sarcasm. Speaking strictly for myself, a sincere apology merits acceptance and _going on_. Darned few people haven’t done something they regret sometime in their lives. (I’ve pulled some truly boneheaded moves I’m still shaking my head over years later!) So congrats on extending the olive branch (or whatever that green leafy peace offering is). It took a lot of class and courage. And please don’t let this inhibit you from posting.
