I'm still bitter about...

I’m still bitter about the 1991 Michigan vs. Florida State football game, in which the barbarians from Tallahassee put 51 points on the Michigan Stadium scoreboard. I always root for whoever is playing against the F$U Criminoles, as I call them. This gets a bit tricky when they play the Miami of Florida Convictcanes, because I cannot stand that gang of thugs either.

I hear that they tore up some grass from the Michigan field and took it back to Fla. with them. One day I would like to go down there and bring it back home to Ann Arbor.

Heh, I have one to add. Back in the winter of '97, I was standing outside waiting at a bus stop. I took my gloves off to retrieve my swipe pass out of my purse, then put my gloves back on and continued to wait. Two women were also at the bus stop. One of them picked something up off the ground. They both looked at me, grinning and laughing, but said nothing. I was tempted to ask what the joke was, thinking perhaps I had dropped something embarrassing, but not seeing anything on the ground I didn’t.

When I got home, I realized I had lost my most cherished ring. It fell off when I removed my glove. I immediately returned to the bus stop and scoured the place. It was gone. Those two wenches had picked up my ring, laughing about it, and kept it without even asking if it was mine. That ring meant quite a lot to me and I still get so upset I see red just thinking about it. I don’t even like to look at pictures where I have the ring on because it makes me that mad. Both women were a lot bigger than me (and I wear a very small ring size) and probably couldn’t even use the ring. They probably gave it away to some child that ended up losing it, too. Or they just dumped it.

Petty, but oh well.
