# I'm taking the LSAT tomorrow

I am relocating to Austin next summer, and decided to take the plunge and try to get into law school there. I only signed up for the LSAT a couple of months ago, so I haven’t had as much time as I’d like to prepare for it, but I’m pretty comfortable with the questions in the practice book.
I hope that my fellow Dopers will send lots of positive vibes in my general direction tomorrow morning. Y’all have never let me down yet.

Good luck!
I wrote the LSAT myself last October. If I can offer a piece of advice, I’d suggest taking plenty of pencils, and relaxing. The test is challenging, but not impossible; and I ended up doing pretty well on it.

Don’t worry about preparing for it.
I took it after working 26 straight hours (having forgotten I was supposed to be taking it until my mother called to wish me luck that morning) and did okay.

Hey I just took it too on Saturday. My girlfriend said she saw some girl come out all in tears while she was waiting for me. I think I did ok.

Good luck! I took the LSAT in June of '03; just this morning I took the second final exam of my first semester of law school. (Torts; I think I aced it.)

I didn’t witness any displays of emotion as the test ended on Saturday, just an overwhelming sense of collective brain drain. In fact, everyone kind of shuffled silently out of the room like androids.
I’ve been out of school for more than ten years, so it’s been a long time since I’ve gone through the standardized test ordeal. But all in all, I’m pretty positive about it. Of course the analytical logic section probably kicked my ass, but as I understand it, it kicks _everyone’s_ ass.

Hey **Spoons** , I’m [looking you up](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?t=276574). How’d the LSAT go for you? How about **msmith537** and you, **Kizarvexius**? I took the test the same day y’all did in December and clocked a 168. Which was apparently good enough to get me invites and fee waivers at several top 25 schools. (Let’s see what their reaction is when they get ahold of my undergrad transcript and see my tragic undergrad GPA.)
