I’m also the invisible one (to women), the funny one (in certain social groups), the smart one (to my fellow house activists, because I do the math), and the one who needs to exercise more (to my trainer). ---

I was Mr. reference desk. They asked where something was, what the policies meant, what is the procedure, how do you figure area, I can’t start my computer, where’s so and so. Much of that was finally stopped over the years, because the owner would tell them to leave me to due the work they wanted done. I was using equipment that nobody else could run. I refused to deal with the computers I didn’t use, once they hired an IT person. IT still tried to get me to do computer stuff that was their job, but they got 3 times the pay I did, so it didn’t float. ---

the laid-off one ☹ ☹ ☹ as of today. But aside from that, before I was laid off I was - the young one (they normally don’t let kids my age work there)/innocent one - the hyperactive/hardworking one. (I hate being inactive at work, so I run around cleaning and rearranging all the time… or… did.) ---

The Polite one. -It’s a curse, but what can I say. manners were important in my house. My friends think it’s a bit silly. The intimidating one -I’m quiet and the natural expression on my face is kind of serious. I’m rather large and in pretty reasonable shape. -This is really only if you don’t know me. I’m quite nice once you meet me. The Quiet one -My nickname for a long time was, Silent D. -I hated that nickname as it made me sound like I was the worst DJ of all time.
