# I'm thinking about getting a tattoo and I need to know something

I just texted a good friend of mine who is a tattoo artist about this.

He said, “right after he dies would be best, but you don’t want it to get too leathery. Skin might start separating.”

I asked about legalities.

He said, “might have some legal problems, obtaining the body, maybe some health department issues. I guess just don’t tell anybody you’re going to do it.”
