To the OP:

Do you know what those other kids in class are _really_ thinking about? **Themselves!**

Some of your feelings are very normal for someone your age. Some of them have been made worse by the situation that you have to put up with.

Is there any adult in your life – a neighbor, a relative, or even a teacher – that you would feel a little like confiding in?

You are in a kind of wilderness at the moment. When you are in trouble in the wilderness, one of the first things that you try to do is get control of your emotions. It’s not easy to do, but you need to do it long enough to make out a list of your problems. Then make a list of what you can do to solve your problems without creating worse problems. Then do those things. After that, you have to turn loose.

Getting control of your emotions doesn’t mean that you don’t feel them. It means that you don’t let them rule your actions. You think about consequences before you act.

That is a rotten situation about your sister and the sheets. If you don’t feel competent in making a decision for yourself without setting Mom off, then wake her up and let her decide where you should sleep. It’s her job to see that you have a place. It may piss her off, but her opinion is not quite as important as it may seem at the moment. Your honest opinion of yourself is far more important. So work on honesty, SELF-RESPECT, and courage. Ease up on yourself.

You will be okay. The human mind is not fully developed at the age of fourteen. Don’t expect yourself to know exactly what to do to make things go smoothly.

Do get some exercise of some sort even if it’s just walking fast or running. That helps with anger some.

Knowing how to use a washing machine – yeah, he definitely should. But not wanting to lug them downstairs in the middle of the night and figure out how to work it (even with the directions right there) – can’t say I blame him.

Plus the mattress itself might still smell of puke, and you might need to let it air out.

That sucks. I still say he should dump them on Sis’s bed and let HER do them. 😉

> To the OP: Sorry things are so crappy right now. I am hoping you stick with some kind of schooling, though; I’ve a niece and nephew who for various reasons have dropped out. My niece is 16 and was in a car wreck which messed up her back so that she missed 6 months completely, and she can’t sit for very long even still, so she just stopped going altogether. My nephew is smart as a whip, 14, but in sort of a similar situation as you are; I think he stopped going because his sister did. Their mother \<my sister\> tells me they are working on doing online education, and I am seeing more about that kind of thing in various ads lately. I hope you try to find out, through your school or some adult who can help, what might be possible for you regarding alternative education. It’s apparant you can do the work; the social setting just doesn’t work for you. Please don’t let that keep you from an education; this is the only time you’re going to be able to get it for cheap, and you deserve it.

thanks i appreciate it

> Where is your mom? And what is meant by CCIS and CAPHP?

CCIS - Child Crisis Intervention Services ;as in they watch you all day so you don’t kill yourself

CAPHP- Child Adolecent(sp) Partial Hospitalization Program; they talk to you all day to make sure you don’t go home and kill yourself. the only difference is that one is only 8 hours while the other is 24
