So my three days off turned into being woken up in the middle of sleep yesterday to go down and get the store ready for inspection since the RGM couldnā€™t do it, followed by being unable to sleep since by the time that was over, it was evening and thatā€™s when I am awake, followed by being told oh by the way, youā€™re working tomorrow morning, so Iā€™m ready for work now, followed by oh by the way youā€™ve got to cover a closing shift because the other shift manager canā€™t be relied on for jack, followed by me saying I needed some goddanged sleep before that shift. Supposedly, I still have \*\*\*one \*\*\*day off, tomorrow. Will do my best to finish this then. Jesus tap-dancing Christ, itā€™s the game that I am not allowed to launch. Your gods have forbidden it I tells you. ---

Anybody want a soda or something? ā€¦ 'Cause Iā€™m, uh, Iā€™m going up to the machine and I thought maybe I would get somethingā€¦ since I had something sweet and i thought i would get something saltyā€¦ ā€¦ Oh, uhā€¦ I finished debugging the phones, you know, I was gonna, so I did, I debugged the phones. I thought maybe I should tell ya that the systemā€™s gonna be compiling for, ah, 18 to 20 minutes some of the minor systems, they might go on or off but itā€™s ah, nothing to worry about, just a simple thing. Oh hey, they uhā€¦ made me work tomorrow as well so my three days off in a row ceased to exist so now Iā€™m working a nice, uhā€¦ what is itā€¦ oh yes. 10 days in a row. And yet I am still going to launch this freakin game. You laugh, but it is somehow going to happen. ---

I get the feeling you need to change the title of the game. Something like ā€œIā€™m too busy to run thisā€ Mafia would meet the requirements of the Trade Descriptions Act. ---

This is all due to the other shift manager being fired. And so, after only a year and 4 months, I am now the second highest ranked person in one of the busiest pizza places in Orlando. We go through people like toilet paper. Iā€™ve literally seen no less than 30 people be terminated in the last month alone, and dozens more in the past few months before that. Itā€™s a blood sport; a last-man-standing, battle to the death. ---
