Finally got the mortgage app done. It came as a PDF file and I couldn’t figure out a way to fill in the blanks, not that the blanks were big enough for filling in anyway. So I printed it out, filled it in, in teeny tiny letters to fit the teeny tiny squares. I needed a magnifying glass to read some of the instructions. Then I scanned it, multiple times because I couldn’t figure out where the forms were going. I probably have a dozen forms floating on my computer somewhere. Got one more hour of irk and then on to finish my taxes. The kid informed me that we have to get groceries tonight, so there’s that to do too. ---

I moved about a dozen hostas and after the garden by the porch gets a good drink, I’ll drag the sprinkler down to the far end of the yard and water the new hosta plantings. I know there are more in the old garden bed - I just can’t figure out where, so I may need to wait for them to sprout. No biggie - I gots time! I also need to dress semi-respectably so I can run to the store. Which means a quick shower and a change. In a bit. I’m gonna play here a while longer, because I can. I’m retired. 😃 ---

Afternoon. Spent half the day trying to phone the jobcentre, to try and move next week’s appointment to an earlier time. 6 calls, they’ve not answered yet- and I have to call via the national switchboard so I still get charged even though they don’t answer. Bah. Is raining today- makes a nice change from snow, and it’s actually warm in the sun! Did a bit of gardening inbetween the showers, 'cos it appears spring might finally be on its way. I’m kittysitting for a friend this week; just been down there, so I’ve got in my daily kitty scritches fix. Is cute kitteh- I’ve got no pictures though. Happy thorsday! ---

Cats do that. All the time. On a more serious note and since we are kinda sorta a ventin’ MMP this week… DO NOT come in here for a scheduled appointment and bring your grandspawn with you. I just told someone that except I said grandchild. Ummm… you are applyin’ for a job trainin’ position designed to help you get a job, thus, when you come in here you should act just as if you are on a job interview because you are bein’ evaluated to determine if you qualify. Just as one would not bring one’s grandspawn, spawn of your loins, dog, cat or ferret to a job interview, one should not do so here. Sigh. I’m nice however. I gave her an appointment for next Wednesday with the shall we say firm advice to come alone then. I have a feelin’ this will be one of those interviews where all information will be scrutinized very carefully. Sigh. ---

Well this may all be the beginning/middle of the day for some of you but it’s the end of the day for me! (I’m working midnight to noon every day) Life goes on. Today would have been 2 years of dating my boyfriend if we were still together. A bit emotional but I’m managing to keep it together for now. Cried my eyes out last night. Hopefully no more tears today. Hope you all have a blessed and wonderful rest of your day! ---
