I have been suffering with pollen this spring, more so than usual. I have not been a happy camper, by any means, so have just been laying a bit low, rather than bite anyone’s head off. Or whatever else. 😉 I tried the eggplant cutlets again, this time oven baking them before putting together an eggplant parmesan, and they worked out much better this time. I also used cooking oil spray on them, individually, and they turned out fine. According to the instructions on the box, I should have been able to put them directly into a casserole, but I’m here to tell you, they did NOT taste good at all when done that way! We had garlic naan bread instead of regular garlic bread and boy that was very tasty. Got that at an Indian grocery store–if you have access to one, they have all sorts of wonderful Indian products. 🙂 **Gotti** , what did your doggies do?! I’ve been wondering and since no-one else asked, I will - figured it must be your doggies, when you asked if someone wanted two fur producers, or something like that! Either running for 28-ish hours without sleep messed me up, I’m getting sick, or some combination thereof. Went to bed around 11pm, finally dragged myself out around 6:45pm (I did get up around 10am-ish long enough to feed the cat, then crawled back in). No chemical sleep aid was involved in this. I’d even gone so far last night as to go over to pick up DH 45 minutes early so I could grab a nap in the car. DH unlocking the car was what woke me. 🙂 My sinuses hate me, and the dishes had been breeding in the sink. Full dishwasher is now running. ---

So today was a normal day, wake up too early, spend too many hours at irk, get home, turn right around and leave for weekend irk (slinging pizzas), do that for a few more hours, get home well after bedtime, the usual. Except now I’m sitting here wide awake when I should be ready to pass out. I don’t know what’s wrong with me. I’ve been awake for close to 19 hours now, working during most of those hours, and I’m not even tired.😕:what: ---

Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffienatin’. _YAWN_ ‘Tis 48 Amurrkin out with a predicted high of 83 and sunny for the day. Tomorrow we are once again promised rain/tstorms/apocalypse all day and night. We shall see. Today’s agenda is yahd irk. Edgin’ and mowage is needed. I want to get out early and do it, as in as soon as there’s enough daylight cause it’s dry and cool out. Was that a foot of sheets or a foot-tall stack? I slept in till 7!! AMAZING!!! And after it warms up a wee bit, we’re going out with a shovel and a rake and a chain saw and we’re going to clean up some small trees and branches on the front hill. The stump guy never showed up yesterday, so he’s fired before he’s hired. Time to find another… That’s all I’ve got for now. We’re breakfasting in and the animals are chasing about. The sun is shining, the birds are singing, and it promises to be a good day. Happy Saturday!! ---
