This is my MO. Something’s wrong and of course I have an accident and make my plight worse.

I blame the black cloud that follows me around.

Look at information for _C. Difficile_. What you are describing **might** be the infamous smell associated with that. You should check out the symptom list and see if what you’re experiencing might match up. If so, there are specific antibiotics to tackle it and you should talk to your dr.

Aside from minor damage stemming from that fall on the stairs, everything seems to have returned to what passes for normal.

I do have pretty well-managed type-2 diabetes so lingering bruises are not unusual.
