I don’t find it disturbing. It would make me want to visit the gallery. It’s quite appropriate for an art museum. I like the name too, but a good nickname would be fun. ---

While I’ve no objections to the hand design, I do think it’s not in the right setting. If it were placed with other large sized sculptures in an outdoor exhibit, it would work. On top of a classic architecture style, it looks out of place, and the face has got a sourpuss expression like it disapproves of you entering the building. If it’s meant as artistic expression, I don’t see how the message helps to draw visitors to the gallery. ---
