# iMac Fax Modem - AT Commands

I have an iMac G5, and I’m trying to configure it to receive faxes only when it hears a “distinctive ring”. Some people have gotten this to [work](http://www.macosxhints.com/article.php?story=20031111132356616), while others [haven’t](http://viebrock.ca/article/33/distinctive-ring-woes).
I can’t get it to work. So, I have two questions:
1. Do you have any idea how to make this work?
2. Do you know where I can get a complete list of AT commands that work for my modem? According to System Profiler, I have a “Jump” model modem, that is using the driver “MotorolaSM56K.kext (v1.3.1)”. I’m hoping the AT command list will specifically document a “distinctive ring enable” setting that will work on my modem.
