How do I use the IMG tag to upload an image? It’s an animated GIF, about 600 bytes.

Images would slow the boards down even more, not to mention the potential for copyright infringement, bandwidth theft, and general naughtieness.

If you have web space somewhere, you can put your images there and link to them on the SDMB.

Yep. We used to allow images, but all of the above happened. So now, because a few people couldn’t use images responsibly, we have to turn off images for everyone.
